How a session works

Sessions run 60 to 90 minutes depending on the format. Both partners attend together, at the Seoul office or via secure video. The steps below are the same for every session; only the depth changes.

1. Where the two of you are now

   We start with a joint cash-flow snapshot: income, fixed costs, debts, savings, and any regular support payments. Both partners contribute, so the starting point is shared rather than assumed. Bring recent pay slips, loan statements, and a rough monthly spend estimate.

2. Name the goals explicitly

   We list the goals the two of you already share, and the ones that have been left unsaid. Each goal gets a rough timeline and an owner — joint, one partner, or staged. This is the step most couples skip at home, and the one the session exists for.

3. Test the goals against the cash flow

   Each goal is checked against the snapshot from step one. We flag the goals the current cash flow supports, the ones that need a trade-off, and the ones that need a longer horizon. No goal is dropped silently; every adjustment is written down.

4. Written summary and open questions

   You leave with a one-page summary: the goals, the timelines, the trade-offs, and the open questions that remain open at the end of the session. The summary is sent within five business days, and is drafted to stand alone or hand off to a licensed provider.

What to bring

• Recent pay slips or income statements for both partners
• Current loan and credit card balances
• A rough monthly spend estimate — a notebook, a banking app export, or memory is fine
• The one or two money questions that keep coming up at home

After the session

The written summary arrives by email within five business days. If a goal points to work SyncPath does not cover — licensed investment advice, tax filing, insurance, or legal work — the summary identifies the relevant professional and is written so they can pick up where the session left off.
